The KARENS
"K9 Animal Rescue Emergency Networking System aka The Karens is a local group focused on the betterment of animals in homes. We provide outreach items such as dog houses, light weight tie outs, food, new collars, and toys. Our biggest taking on is kennels to free dogs from being tethered to being able to roam free in their yards. Our goal is to provide items that will help keep dogs out of the overcrowded shelters and in the loving homes with their families. We are a 501(c)(3) and all of the donations go towards our outreach initiative. We are a boots on the ground organization and answer many many calls for people in need. A lot of calls/situations can be resolved with a little bit of education and much needed supplies. Please donate and help us continue to help the animals of Detroit."
