Serenity Oaks Equine Sanctuary
"Serenity Oaks Equine Sanctuary is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was created to provide a safe place for off-track race horses to retire safe and happy when they are done with their career. Our goal is to implement therapy programs for the horses and work with individuals who are survivors of PTSD, domestic violence, learning challenges and economic hardship. The Sanctuary is a mid 1800’s Farm located in Plymouth, MI where the horses run, play and enjoy their retirement. We also house goats and offer Goat Yoga Classes from Spring- Fall! Along with chickens and the occasional stray animal that needs a safe place to land for the time being. Everyone is welcome here!"
