Anti Cruelty Campaign Supporting Bark Nation
We are beyond excited to announce our Anti Cruelty Campaign supporting Bark Nation!
Bark Nation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based out of metro Detroit, Michigan whose mission is to end canine cruelty and save lives. Bark Nation works collaboratively with local, state and federal law enforcement to assist with the seizure, care and disposition of animals involved in cruelty, neglect and dogfighting cases. Bark Nation also supplies thousands of enrichment items to shelters across the Midwest yearly, and sponsors hundreds of sterilizations for Detroit owned dogs through an initiative called Project Grace. Bark Nation runs a confidential, state registered animal shelter housing dogs undergoing court cases and has successfully placed over 500 dogs since the origination of #PitnessProtection in 2018. Recently, in January of 2023, they assisted authorities with the removal of 133 dogs from suspect dogfighting situations (the largest operation to combat dogfighting in Michigan history). They receive no government funding and rely solely on supporters to carry out their mission to #endcaninecruelty and #enddogfighting in Michigan and beyond!
