Detroit Dog Mom Company was created when 3 of my lifetime passions finally collided. Detroit, Dogs and Design! I attended WSU for Fashion Design and Merchandising, moved downtown and immediately fell in love with the city of Detroit! My Husband and I still live here now with our 5 former Detroit Street Dogs! I rescued my first dog when I was just 4 years old and have spent the better part of the last 20 years rescuing and fostering countless more! When our Shepherd, Casanova, was diagnosed with Epilepsy and we couldn't get his seizures controlled, I knew my "Stay Home Dog Mom" position had to become permanent. Now the "Toddlers", Walter, Goldie, Peach and The "Bully Girls", Athena, Mattie and Winifred spend their days "helping", happily supervising my work and providing quality control for treats. I'm lucky and beyond grateful to spend my days with my dogs, doing what I love! Thank you for supporting our small business! In memory of Buddy, Poco, Bella, Sissy, Freddy, Shadrack & Casanova.
